Product Description

The PHACON Sinus Trainer Mixed Reality provides a realistic training environment for sinus and skull base surgery. Using PHACON Sinus patient models with different anatomies and disorders such as rhinitis, sinusitis, deviated septum, nasal obstruction and surgery, and more; trainees can develop the haptic skills required for surgical procedures while working with real surgical instruments. Easily replaceable, the trainer is ready for the next use.

In combination with cutting-edge VR headset technology, the system creates an immersive operating room experience, allowing users to perform procedures on the PHACON Sinus Patient in a highly realistic setting. Integrated navigation and a patient-specific 3D model support orientation and guidance throughout the procedure.

The integrated endoscope enables a fast, intuitive, and realistic way to operate on the lifelike patient model, closely simulating the conditions of real sinus surgery.

All PHACON artificial specimens are based on real patient CT data and reflect a wide variety of human tissue characteristics (bone, cartilage, muscle, skin and nerves), handcrafted from different materials down to the smallest detail. Available with different characteristics, many compatible PHACON sinus patients can be reordered from PHACON at any time.
