School Visits at PHACON!

To kickstart a fun-filled summer, we had a very special visit to our PHACON headquarters. A group of school kids had the opportunity to visit our offices to learn how our products are made: 3D printed components that are specially assembled and finished by our team of experts to create our artificial patients that get as close to a real human patient for surgical simulation.

The kids got to learn a bit of anatomy through their senses by seeing and feeling the materials — from touching chalk printings that felt like actual tough bone, or squishing a silicone layer of skin that resembled an ear — and had the most fun while exploring an artificial sinus patient with an endoscope. We here at PHACON were thrilled to teach kids the fun of science!

At the end of their science-filled day, they went home with each a specially 3D printed mini skull as a token of appreciation from us to them.
