The PHACON Throat Assistant offers prospects in training endoscopic surgeries, allowing for training of the following procedures:
- Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)
- Transnasal endoscopy
- SLP speech language pathology
- Simulating swallowing movement
- Inverting the endoscope
Product Description
Our throat patients are designed to simulate swallowing endoscopy, perfectly suited for SLP speech language study cases and pathologies, for example to perform endoscopy on a swallowing model with feeding dysphagia. The materials used to create the throat organ mannequin facilitate users in recreating swallowing movements of the pharynx.
The PHACON Throat Patients are artificial 3D-models to practice different surgeries on the sinus and the skull base. They are compatible with the PHACON Throat Assistant equipment sets. All PHACON artificial models are based on real patient CT-data, reflecting the most diverse human tissue properties (bones, cartilage, muscles, skin and nerves), handcrafted to the smallest detail using a variety of materials. Available with different characteristics, plenty compatible PHACON Throat Patients can be can be reordered at PHACON any time.
